Economics is a social science that works in Practice, not in theory

Economists in Aotearoa love to push themselves as scientists in the same manner as chemists or biologists. Economics is not a physical science. Economists are not scientists. They are, at best, peddlers of the theories they learnt by rote in university and regurgitate uncritically.

We should take their advice with the skepticism that we listen to the opinions of taxi drivers.
