This was when I retreated from social media. I was tired of people posting comments hidden behind the protection of anonymity. In my novel set in 2048, social media has faded to obscurity because this is no longer possible. If you have something to say, you have to have the courage to say it openly.

Be careful though, as Tarantino’s character in Reservoir Dogs Nice Guy Eddie observed - ‘just because they say it, now that don't necessarily make it fucking so.’
